Blue Screen of death
i have this old compact computer i was trying to repair it but i would always get that blue screen of death,so i deleted the file sistem of windows xp so i can reinstall it but it keeps restaring while its formatting or the blue scrren of death appears but i dont have any ile system installed on my computer, any i deas

If you get a BSOD when installing windows from the CD, the install CD is broken. You can buy a new one, download a pirated version, or install a different operating system:

[Link](Mouse over link to see full location) Windows programs don't work on linux. Ubuntu is a friendly distribution, so you won't have to use the command line very much at all.
If you get a BSOD from something else, remove all disks from the computer, burn DBAN to a floppy, and run on "autonuke" mode for a few hours. All the data will be destroyed and you should be able to easily format it with the install CD:
