If he likes your best friend, don't you think it's wrong of you to try & steal the spotlight from her? I think you need to back off. He likes who he likes, and if it isn't you, then that's a shame.

erm ok,there are two ways to this,either except that he likes your best friend,although it's really goin to be tough to do that,i mean you crush goin out with your best friend,it's either your friend or your crush if a relationship does take place.
the other way would be to just tell him how you feel,he might like you and trust me when i say that girls telling guys that they like them is a major turn on,it makes them feel special and such,i mean it's not everyday that a girl makes the first step.
a word of advice though,don't ever say anything bad about your friend behind her back which isn't true cause your friendship is not worth that.
