Question Posted Saturday September 8 2007, 12:44 am
I have been writing some songs and I am really happy with one in particular.
The only problem is that I can't put music with it.
I can write well but I just can't put a tune to it.
I want it to be something that fits it really well.
Something catchy,
Could anyone with experience in music please help me?
It can seem difficult a lot of the time, but just get a rhythm to your lyrics, and then start singing.
It can sound silly, but you can get some catchy stuff like that. But remember that whatever you can have you can change/develop until you're happy with it. Nothing's finished till you say it is.
musiclover answered Sunday September 9 2007, 4:19 pm: I have written lyrics and tunes to go with them. What I would suggest is that you listen to various songs for inspiration. I am NOT telling you to steal a tune, but try to come up with your own melody with the same style as your favorite band or artist. If you have a piano or any instrument try exploring and finding a tune that works for you. [ musiclover's advice column | Ask musiclover A Question ]
