sound desperate

Question Posted Friday September 7 2007, 9:46 pm

Ok if someone saved there number onto your phone would they expect you to call them? What if the person didn't have your number but only gave you his? Would you still call? Or is that sounding desperate ?

If the person seemed interested like he wanted you to call, you should definitely call. He might want to talk to you but there's no way of reaching you because he doesn't have your number. But it's pretty tricky to know when to call because you don't want to be too late that you'll lose your chances of getting to know him and you don't want to be too soon. You want to make it casual like you weren't thinking about calling him the whole time. So i would say, yes to calling within two weeks. Hope i helped! :]

hmm, well, when i put my number into people's phones, i don't expect them to call me unless i say, "hey, call me" or if there's a party or something. call them if you have something to tell them or ask them, but if you don't feel comfortable with whoever it is, you probably shouldn't just call and be like, "hey, what's up?" because you might not have that much to talk about. here's my reasoning: if the person wants to talk to you, they should get your number and call you. you won't sound desperate, but if i were you i would just wait (especially if i have nothing to talk about) until the person might say something along the lines of "so why didn't you call me?" at which point you can say, "you never told me to!"
