Sims 2 Question: my sim has no wants!
I hadn't played it for like a week and now when I play the Broke family, like I made them all picture perfect and stuff, but they have like no wants! Only fears. beau has 0 wants, brandi has 3, Dustin has 1, and only Brandi's baby has wants.. HELP!

well there is a way to add want slots and re-set them, but you have to enable a cheat that may mess up the game, make it freeze or randomly quit. and it may not work. but its a good cheat anyways.
its.
boolprop testingcheatsenabled true
then shift click on a sim.
click spawn...
then click sim modder (may need to click more first)
a little baby will appear (a doll)
and then click on it and then it will say wants and fears (i think) and then click something that says add want slot.. there are also really other cool things you can do with that cheat.
but if that doesnt work, (or if you dont want to use the cheat)try moving the family out of that house than moving them back into another house, or the same one.
oh yeah, and plus remember if you do turn the cheat on make sure you turn it off

its less likely to mess up the game if you turn the cheat off.

you might want to try and shut down your computer and the game and see if that makes a difference..if it doesn't then see if a different family has wants and if it doesn't then it is the game that is broken. Maybe the game got scratched and isn't working properly and if it isn't then try and clean it. That is all i can think of you can do..hopefully it works!
