im a 17 year old female and i cannot handle an interview at all i went to two refering to wroking in retail and some questions i found i couldnt answer or they were very delayed. I need a job so bad because my dad wont buy me the car i want until i am able to get one. I applied at Bon Ton and they called me back for an interview and i am so nervous because i feel that i just dont do interviews well. Any one who has applied in retail can u please list some questions they might have or have even asked and what are some good well thought out repsonses? thank you so much!
You'll need to dress as if you knew about fashion and be well put together that way and especially with hair. They are going to ask you what you know about their company.
Also be prepared to talk about your goals, school, plans for university and how you will deal with customers including extremely annoying types.
Be hgonest and don't give them what they WANT to hear. They'll weed you out for doing that. They want honest answers from you but use your common sense in answering them. They'll ask about previous job experience and what qualifies you to work for them for sure.
I would go in and tell them that you are nervous. They'll help you relax. Don't volunteer any info about yourself unless asked a direct question. Tey also want to see what your personality is like so be upbeat. [ solidadvice4teens's advice column | Ask solidadvice4teens A Question ]
