acne scars?

Question Posted Monday September 3 2007, 10:21 am

I have acne scars, i think.
they are red dots but they aren't bumps like acne is. and they won't go away! and they look like pimples so it's bad :[ i've gone to the dermatologist before but he never said anything about scars. my actual acne has cleared up but those dots are still there? what are some home remedies i could use to make them go away?
here is a pic: don't worry it's not disgusting lol

also right now i use proactiv, neutrogena oil free acne wash, and 2 creams that my dermatologist gave me for my acne. they will help actual pimples... but these red dots won't go away.

It seems like you're using a lot of products at once. Medications that are prescribed are usually strong, so maybe your skin is too dry from all the products or it's have an allergic reaction, or something of that sort. So maybe you should minimize the use of so many products. Good Luck.

I used acne fade and peel from Avon. (its a catalog, look it up.) It works very well. I used to have acne scars that looked like that:

after about 2 weeks of using the fade & peel for 3 times a day my face looked like this:

I cannot stress enough how good Bio Oil is.
After a few weeks, you see improvements with scars, stretch marks and uneven skin tones.
It's sold most places.
You just massage it in and it even smells really nice.
Look out for it!
