Boyfriend.

Question Posted Friday August 31 2007, 11:31 pm

I really like him and all but I'm really not sure how to get him to try things with me. Help?
How do you let him know you're ready for him to kiss you, or hold your hand or something like that. I don't want to be the one to start.
:/ Anyone?

well he wont really know youre ready until you tell him or show him. so maybe you could start off by holding his hand or something. just when youre walking grab his hand. maybe he will get the idea that you want your relationship to be more intimate or whatever. if he doesnt get it then try just like kissing him on the cheek or something and maybe he will copy you and then eventually try to take it farther.

If you don't start it, then how will he know you're ready for this?

Maybe try something easier, like when you're standing, stand really close by him and have your arms touch each other. If you're sitting, scoot in closer. If you're looking at him, gaze into his eyes. Those are some signs that he will understand that you are really into him and want to go further.

If none of those don't work, I would suggest starting. When you're walking, let him go in front of you and pretend you're talking to a friend. Then run and catch up with him and when you're almost there, grab his hand and then don't let go of it. =D

Or you could be walking with him and if you see something interesting, be like "I want to show you something" and then grab his hand and show him. Then just don't let go of his hand. ha ha

For the kiss, well... for that part, you can't really START it because its a 2 person job. wait until the right moment, like when you 2 are alone, or sitting or something like that. Then when both of you look into each others eyes and stare for more than 2 seconds, thats when you know that he's ready. slowly move your head closer to him and thats a big sign that you want to kiss him. Then from there, it's all magic! Every first kiss is natural and different. Yours may last a few seconds, maybe longer... maybe he will chicken out, maybe you'll love it, maybe you'll hate it. But for everyone its different. Just let the chips fall into place.

Good luck!

PS: if all fails, you could try writing him a note/text/email/IM and be like 'truth or dare' then when he says dare, you say 'dare you to kiss me on saturday' or something along those lines. got it?
