what should i get my girlfriend for her birthday?

ive been dating this girl for a year and 4 months, and i love her alot, but i dont know what to get her for her birthday. jewelry maybe, chocolates? i was thinking of flowers, but my friends told me it was too cheesy. thanks

well, flowers are cute, but if you're good in the kitchen, make her her favorite food for dinner, rent her favorite movie, and just cuddle up with her. it'll mean a lot more than anything materialistic. if you're not exactly a good cook, then order pizza or something like that. it'll still be good. get her a card and write whatever you feel about her inside, don't hold back.
