okay so i shop at hollister, and a lot of the shirts have been getting mysterious stains on the shoulder area. not the armpit. and its really wierd, and they dont wash out. has this ever happened to anyone? what did you do? ahh
thanks ;)
Additional info, added Thursday August 30 2007, 9:12 pm: the stain is like orangish or pinkish and whitish, kind of like bleach or acne medication, but i know i didnt get any on it. and its both of the shoulders.. If you dont want to return them you can put soap on a facecloth and rub the stain, press hard and see if that works. after you put soap on the stain soak it in water in the sink. also try stain removers like shout!
uisforukelele answered Friday August 31 2007, 11:14 am: okay, the only thing i can think of is... do you have wire hangers? because i have some wire hangers, and over the years they have made rust spots (that orangeish color) on my clothing on the shoulders. try using a product like shout, or oxy clean and hopefully it will come out! also, i doubt this, but the only other things i can think of that would touch your shoulders while you're wearing the shirt is like, a purse or backpack or even your hair. i doubt there would be anything in your hair that would stain it (weird), but check the straps of your purses and backpacks and make sure there's not some kind of gunk there. However, yours may be a little more noticable. I'd take it back to the store and ask them what it is. There's no guarentee it will come off so it's best just to return it.
However, you may have worn it already. If you have use stain stick or stain away sprays. They should help. Don't dry it until the stain comes out because drying the clothes witll set the stain in. [ Erinn_the_bamf's advice column | Ask Erinn_the_bamf A Question ]
