what does it mean when your period is brown?

it could either just be dired blood or it's either ending or starting. it can go either way with this. if is is none of the above, then you may want to get it checked out by your doctor. hope I helped

It is nothing to worry about. It is just old blood. This is not uncommon during the last two days of your period. Blood if left out in the air, say on a napkin from a bloody nose, would eventually turn brown. The blood died before it came out. If it is brown every month, month after month, then I would mention it to your doctor.
