Flashing letters.

Okay, so if you dont know what im talking about, or tell me to get an animation program, dont answer this. But I really want to know, how on layout myspaces and stuff they have the flashing letters. Like they change colors but the picture doesnt move. So if anyone knows how to do this or what program to use, please let me know. Thanks.

Well you need an animation program to do this, I know you said don't answer this, but like, there's no other way to do this.
