k so i need advice on my first day outfit. i was thinking of just wearing a tank top, jeans, and maybe some bangles or a cute necklace.
what do you think? it's suppoed to be like 85 degrees and tanks can be two fingers haha i looked it up beforehand to make sure.

Sounds like a pretty good idea, but if you want to go a little further, try a " popping " shirt, that makes you stand out. For example, a bright yellow baby doll tank with matching jewelry. I did this, and I got a lot of compliments. People told me, everyone noticed me and that I definately held the spotlight! Even try skinny jeans if you want to make the outfit look better! just wear waht looks amazing on you.
dont go over the top though, people will no you tryed to hard.
a simple outfit w. some jewlary will be fine.

i think it sounds really cute. if your tanktop basically plain you can even add those long with pearls from claires (where you wrap them around your neck so it almost looks like two necklaces)

The person below me mentioned a sundress and heels as overdressing. That's not overdressing at all. That's a good outfit for school.
Anyways, bangles are usually clanky & annoying, so I wouldn't wear those the first day. Wear a cute necklace, maybe a nice silver chain or some pearls. Tanktop & jeans sounds good though. =)

what not to do...
-OVERDRESS...wearing some sundress with heels or whatever
-OVERACCESORIZE...covered in chains and dangly chandelier earrings
-NOT BE YOURSELF...wear something because they saw it on some cover of VOGUE... i understand its fashion but those are usually runway fashion lol
