Question Posted Friday August 24 2007, 10:36 pm

My natural hair colour is black and I was wondering, that if I dyed my hair to any lighter colour like blond or even brown, can I look younger or less older?

I'm thinking that maybe my black hair makes me look older, and not in a good way?

Generally speaking, people that dye their hair look older. I'd just leave it be. A lighter color most likely wouldn't match your skin tones and it would look stupid anyway. I love black hair, I think it's really beautiful. It's not going to make you look older...wrinkles and stuff do that, it may make you look more mature maybe though and that's a good thing! Leave it how it is! :)

Changing your hair color to a lighter color does make someone look younger, they are colors that a lot of youngsters like even in other things as well besides hair color.Black hair is nice also because it matches with any color, don't think that it makes you look older in a bad way I mean I have black hair,I love my natural hair color,I did get the idea of changing it for a new look but I thought of it,I decided when I'm much older. So if you want a change I say do it then whatever is good for you.

If you have black hair naturaly you probly have darker skin i am guessing. If you dye your hair Blonde/light brown your face MIGHT look washed out look washed out.

Just a warning if you do:
YOU MIGHT HAVE TO STRIP YOUR HAIR COLOR OUT THOUGH. AND I THINK IT CAN BE A LITTLE BIT PRICEY TO DO. jUST GO TO THE SALON AND ASK A STYLIST THE PROS AND CONS.
