ok well i write my own songs and i dont want to brag but there pretty good. i really want to make a cd. ive seened people who write there own songs like on myspace and they sing it and they make there own background music like guitar and drums and stuff like that playing at the rhythm of the song. i wan to do that too. how do i give my songs music is there any program i can download? help!
thanks in advance!
Making music (if your new too it) isn't just.. "easy" and especially if your thinking of using a program to do it all, then you need to atleast have some experience.
Well have a go, there isn't any harm in that i'm not here to nag at you just to throw you some advice.
Fruit Loops 5 - this is a good (though quite complex) program, which will aid you in making ANYTHING, yes.. anything.. - download mods for it, for more drum sounds and more synths etc etc, i've even got a piano mod for it, you can make all sounds on it whatever you want, and compile it into a long nice piece of music.
Cubase SX3 - this is a brilliant program (industry standard as well) for recording music, - get a mike and whip out your guitar and record your music, you can set equalizers and do all that what not to make it sound better and ofcourse export it as a .mp3
Those are the 2 programs I use to fool around with music - be patient though, you won't be able to just easily learn how to use them, theres still quite a lot I don't know about them, plus if you want to get deep into it you need a very strong understanding of music and the technology behind what makes a good song.
Anyways.. good luck =D
Oh this is what I like to do, - make the backing on Fruity Loops (drums and synths) - then I export it as a .mp3 and inport into cubase - and then I record guitar on cubase on top of the backing and then record vocals on top of that.. and do all the editing on it all and vwala
