i straightned my hair nearly every day(am kinda of obsessed! Well i use GHD straightners and solutions and there supposed to be quite good but i still just get split-ends and all that kind of stuff, i keep cutting them off but i would like to grow it out now.
I then decided to get my hair chemically straightned but its quite expensive!
I know the answer to stop my hair from drying and stuff is to stop, but i can't!
Is there any recipies or shampoo's i can buy or make to help my hair.
(shampoo's i can buy in the uk)

What is it about curls you don't like? Curly hair can be very nice. In fact, I am doing what I can to encourage my natural curls. I think that the first thing you want to figure out is why you are so intent on straightening your hair. If you think about it for a while, and decide that you really want it to be straight and not give your natural curls a chance, you should put in the expense to have it professionally done. They will be able to advise you on how to care for it better. And it really isn't that expensive when you consider the amount you put into the method you've been using.
If you decide to give your curls a chance, try a book called Curly Girl. It has some great tips. Heck, get it anyway. There are some great recipes for hair repair in it. Even if you keep your hair straight, there are wonderful, chemical free treatments to re moisturize your hair. It is a great book.
In the meantime, try this:
Get some olive oil and cover your hair in it (if you have scented essential oil that you like, add a few drops to the oil to make your hair smell nice. I like lavender). Wrap your hair with plastic wrap and leave it for about an hour. Get in the shower and rinse thoroughly. Do NOT shampoo. The shampoo will get rid of all the oil, making the treatment useless. Mix the juice of one lemon in with your conditioner and wash your hair with that. Rinse lightly, allowing some of the conditioner to remain. This will help your hair.
Because you have curly hair, it is more porous and more susceptible to damage. Try avoiding shampoo most of the time. You can get your hair very clean using conditioner, and it will help keep you from having so much damage.
