Question Posted Monday August 20 2007, 8:24 pm

someone else just answered my question, the one you answered as well, and they said you were wrong. haha thats why i was worried to ask for such important advice on this website because not all people know what theyre talking about. i trust that someone of your age knows better haha and i hope youre right. its just that, ive read that a sign of pregnancy was a short scant period. mine was actually normal. maybe slightly less heavy than usual but that can be effected by stress, and i think by the content of my question we know ive been under plenty of that! anyway, i was just checking, because i was hoping that someone older would answer. and you did, so thank you! haha

If it helps I am a EMT and have worked as a medical assistant. I also worked in an ER for 9 years. :)

I went in and edited the answer I gave you. I do
want to add that break through bleeding would really be more like spotting. Not much blood, and you would never even assume it was a period.

I looked all over the internet to see if I might be wrong. Nowhere did I find that you could have your period and be pregnant. The question was asked and the answer always no. The blood you loose while
having your period is the lining that holds the baby while you are pregnant. :)

They meant well I'm sure. Both of them were younger than you are. :)
