my boyfriend is mexican and his little sister is having her quince or quincenera party on september 16. i have to go and my boyfriend said i need to wear a dress, like a party dress. what kind of dress could i buy? a black one? or what? i have no idea what kind of dress to wear!

I went to a hispanic sweet 16 [she had both] and she wore a big poofy blue dress. a lot of the guests wore little black dresses around knee length. i saw other colors like silver, tan with black...wear something simple... not like prom gown material, more like homecomming style dresses. <3
