I NEED ADVICE!!
hi rose,my name is destiny.I am only 12 year old and i think im pregant.horrible i know.Im so scared .i dont know what to do.im shaking just by writing this letter.I dint have sex but me and a male kind of fooled around.I started my period the first time in december 2006 so my periods are still irregular.I dont have a certian date of my period but i started my last period on july 3rd and today is august 19.im a couple weeks late.I dont know who to talk to or what to do.I cant talk to family and if i talk to my friends they will think im a slut.Im so scared i dont know what to do.PLZ HELP ME.

Well first off try to calm down. You didn'y specify what "fooling around" was exactly so I assume if you didn't have sex or if yall were body rubbing against each other and his semen/cum DID NOT go into your vagina then you won't have to worry about getting pregnant. You would only have to worry about being pregnant IF yall were both naked on top of each other or his penis was near you vagina and his cum/semen went into your vagina. If your not sure take a home pregnany test, thats the only way you WOULD be sure or see a doctor..
BUT THERE ARE CAUSES OF MISSED/IRREGULAR PERIODS.
-You're only 12 and the first years that you have your period they're OFTEN irregular.
-Increase in exercise
-STRESS is can play a BIG FACTOR
you may have dissrupted your hormone balance, and this would include such things as stress or worry. Even worrying about the possibility of pregnancy can do it.
-major weight loss or gain
-illegal drug uses
-medications cause
less or missed pds.
-eating disorders
Any of these signs can be factors as to why you have missed periods, but it sounds like to me its just STRESS.
POSSIBLE pregnancy symptoms.
-Missed period is most common
-Any extreme tiredness or fatigue
-Swollen and hurt breasts and dark areola (the color thing that is part of your boobs
-Morning sickness, (like throwing up)/ nausea
-Headaches and back aches
-ALOT of trips to the bathroom

Your not a slut at all, at least your aware of things, you just have to make sure when you do any type of sexual act you HAVE to make sure he's not anywhere near your vagina. And when performing oral sex, it is safe that he puts on a condom although the tasting only rubber is disgusting. But to me that their is LIL chance that you could be pregnant. So not to worry, STRESS is MAJOR factor. But to be sure, talk you r parents into going to see a gyno/obgyn or take a home pregnancy test, that is the only way to be sure you know.
