yeast infection okay well,
for a while, ive been itching 'down there' and when i itch it, it gets red spots where the hair is. i dont know if its just because of my hair down there because i shave but i was reading something on yeast infections and now im freaking.
it says you get a whitish discharge, like cottage cheese. and i do get discharge, and its kinda white, but it dosent look like cottage cheese.
so im freaking out.
do i have a yeast infection or am i just being a normal 16/f?
please help.

It doesn't sound like a yeast infection. There's usually some burning when you urinate. That discharge and a fishy sort of smell. Of course that itch. Discharge that's kinda white is normal.
But if you have red spots and you shave, it sounds like razor burn. I get that a lot and it itches. If you take allergy medicine, the itch should go away. ]
ok don't panic sweety, your discharge is white which is normal cottage cheese is worrying and you don't have that, shaving is common to have these symptoms so stop and see what happens because that does cause itchiness and red spots so lay that off for a while. does it burn when you pass urine or are there any irregular periods? because this could help me answer you. yeast infections are very rare i doubt you have that but have you had any sex lately or sexual intimate masturebating or has a boy touched you up recently?

thanks for writing back this is good that it doesn't burn and that there are no irregular periods so don't worry you may have just been reacting to being sexually intimate trust me your fine!

I think its just because of you shaving down there. Try not shaving down there and see if the itching goes away.
Hope this helps,

You probably just have razor burn.
Unless your...
1. urine smells weird.
2. actual vagina itches
3. you have a white discharge
4. it sort of burns to pee
you should be fine. ]
