Ok, I need advice concerning my weight. I'm 15/f and not obese, not even overweight (according to my doctor). Whenever I tell people that I think I'm fat, they give me that "you're not fat, you look just fine" speech. The problem is, I have a lot of body fat. With my clothes on I look pretty normal but a little chubby. Underneath my clothes, which I can see, I have a LOT of fat. It's around my belly, buns, thighs, etc. ESPECIALLY my belly. I've even noticed some on my face lately. I really feel disgusting and I can literally feel the fat hanging on my body. I'm too embarassed to wear bathing suits. I look HORRIBLE in pictures. I wore this strapless, knee length dress to a party thinking I looked pretty good. Then, I looked at the pictures of the party and I just started crying. In one picture I stood next to my 50 year old mom and she looked really thin compared to me. I eat pretty healthy meals at home because my parents are health nuts and I hardly ever eat fast food. My only weakness is snacking which in my case isn't even that severe and we don't even have much junk food in the house anyway. My plan for this fall is to run cross country, eat really, really healthy and try not to snack too much, and do all kinds of abdominal excercises and lift weights. Do you think this is a good plan for me? Do you have any tips on diet and excercise. My goal is to be two clothing sizes smaller by the end of cross country. Do you think this is a realistic goal? Is it possible that this is just my body type and there's nothing I can do about it? Is it also possible that this is just "baby fat" and will wear off as time goes on? Before I started puberty I was fairly skinny compared to others my age so maybe it isn't my real body type. Please help me. I'm sick of having so much fat. I really, really, really just wanna look trim.
