My sister has asthma so, I'm pretty educated on this subject. It could be that you are just out of shape. People who have exercise induced asthma usually experience coughing, wheezeing, and a tight feeling in their chests. The tight feeling kinda feels like someone is sitting on your chest. Your regular doctor may prescribe an inhaler or other medication for when you are going to play sports, or exercise. If your symptoms persist or get worse, you may even need to see a specialist who can monitor your asthma and prescribe daliy medicine to keep your asthma under control.

If you are normally quite active and your fitness is not in question, it does sound as though it could be asthma. However, no one here is going to be able to diagnose you accurately so you really do need to persuade your mother to take you to the doctors to be really sure.

I have no wish to frighten you but asthma needs to be taken seriously as it can kill. There are around 5000 deaths from asthma in the US each year. If you do have this very common ailment, it can be easily controlled with the correct medication.

They will probably want to do a few tests on you, (non-invasive) to check if it is asthma. This is nothing to worry about and does not hurt.

I have included a website with more information to read, you could also show your mother. It is important that you see a doctor as soon as possible so good luck talking to her.

Hey. You really need to make your mom get you to the doctor. Bug her until she makes the call because you need to be tested to make sure this is nothing serious. It could be from a number of things such as asthma, or walking pnemonia. I wouldn't worry but I would definitely get to the doctor to check it out. Good luck and I hope you feel better ♥ fabulous
