drivers test in PA

Question Posted Wednesday August 15 2007, 5:47 pm

On PA drivers lincences test do they stop you once you failed and just have you go back and park or do they have you complete it no matter what? I took it today and failed for a pretty dumb reason but thats besides the point. My parents said I was going to have to do a 3 point turn on the test but I never did but my test only lasted about 10 mins when the girl before me who passed, hers what about 15.

Additional info, added Wednesday August 15 2007, 10:10 pm:
also how many "screw ups" is it until you fail.. right off the bat i didn't know where the hazard lights were and then i was told I also rolled through the 2 stop signs in the parking lot and thats why I failed

I know I def stoped at atleast 1 of the stop signs completely because there were kids hanging out there and I waited a few seconds to see what they were going to do... so

was that a fail right away because of the hazards lights or was it like 3 strikes and im out
.

Each driving instructor & DMV is different. Most of my friends failed at least once, if not twice. Some had to complete the whole entire test & then were told they failed, while others only parked, did horrid on it & had to go back & not complete the test. It all depends on who gives you the test or the DMV. I haven't heard of anyone doing 3 point turns for a long time. I think that was on the exam awhile ago, but recently, I don't know anyone that had to do it. It wouldn't hurt practicing it though. Also, tests vary. Some are only 5 minutes, while others can go up to 20 minutes or more.

-hope that helped!♥
