is this weird?
hey im kaitlin im 13 and i like this kid who is a year younger than me is that weird?
also.. one of his friends imed me the other day and hes like EW EW YOU LIKE ERIC ( the kid i liked ) and he goes on and says EW HES A YEAR YOUNGER THAN YOU!! and i was like i dont like him (which i do) and i was like getting mad and he was like im just kidding. but i m still kinda mad about that.
and also, i REALLY wanna let eric kno i like him without actually telling him. so do u know if there is anyway that i can like lead him on? i dont really want to make it that obviouse tho.
i am also scared people will think its weird for me liking someone younger than me.

its not weird. It just seems like that because you are in grade school. I like a guy thats a senior and im a sophomore. Thats 2 years older than me! And he likes me back. He likes a WAY younger chick. And hes not embarrassed!
To lead him on, try getting really flirty.
call him. but dont call him all the time.
to the point where it get obnoxious! yeah.

but tell him you like someone. or tell his friend

Its not wierd! I've dated guys that were younger than me before. You can tell one of your friends that is friends with him that you like him, then tell her to tell him that you like him....but tell her to make it seem like he wasnt supposed to know...act like it was a secret. Then get his number and talk to him more and more....you'll hook up eventually.

My parents are three years apart, my aunt is dating a guy that's nine years younger than her.
It's no biggie.
But, younger people tend to think it's weird when, for example, an eighth grader likes a seventh grader.
