USB Flash Drive

Question Posted Sunday August 12 2007, 2:03 pm

I just recently bought a SanDisk USB micro cruzer to store all my music & pics on while I redo some things on my computer. The problem is every single time I plug it in, my whole computer freezes up & I can't do anything! I don't understand what's wrong. If anyone can help me figure this out, it would be greatly appreciated. I have windows XP. Think You.

Use my guide on targeting application-based problems:

When checking if your problem is still there with the guide, simply insert the flash drive.

If the problem is not fixed after disabling everything in msconfig, it's probably a hardware problem and you should contact SanDisk's support. I can't really think of any hardware problem that could cause this, but that's the only thing remaining after following my guide.

Not having a hi-speed USB port won't freeze your computer, it just won't work(or won't work as fast).
