AIM BUDDYLIST

I dont want my whole buddylist set to private because then people that i dont have there sn cant IM me. Can I make it so only people on my buddylist can view my profile/awaymessaeges or either one. THANKS<3

yes you can.. haha.. if you have the old aim the 5.9 version, then this is what you do. click on set up then preferences. on the left where you can pick what you want to go to, click on privacy(its the second one) then in the top left hand coner, there will blue writing saying Who Can Contact Me. Under it click on the bubble that has "Allow only users on my buddylist" next to it. & There you go.
But if you have people blocked, and want them to stay on your list, you will have to unblock them. Whoever you block, their name will be taken off your buddylist forever pretty much.
