cookies/cache
i was told i need to clear my cookies and cache to fix a redirection problem ive been having. how do i do that?

I'm assuming you use Internet Explorer, so I will answer for that web browser. Open IE------>Tools----->Internet Options. Click "Delete Cookies" and when the pop-up box comes up click Ok, then click "Delete Files" check the box, and press ok. And you should be good.
If you are using Opera: Open Opera--->Tools--->Delete Private Data--->Click Details and make sure everything is checked except clear wand Passwords--->Delete.

it might me tools, internet options, clear history. once you have done that, delete files above that. then settings right near to there, and view files. select all the things there, by dragging, and then press delete. i think this will do it completely. most of its probabaly unessacary, but better safe than sorry :) hope i helped.
