MAKEUP help

Question Posted Thursday August 9 2007, 2:59 am

I'll really love pictures of you using the product. Because I can't really go through the whole trial and error due to money problems. I'll really like to see someone wear it.

But since ALL makeup is old, I'm thinking about trying better things.

What is a good foundation for light tan/olive skin tones? Why do you have to buy a shade lighter than your skin tone? [I think, that's right] Because whenever I do that, there's no coverage and it's too pale for my skin.

Is there
What are some good brands [cheap] of liquid foundation, powder and blush?

Actually I just want a whole new look, something mature and not so cakey.

I can give you a picture of myself, if you really want to help.

I think my face shape is oval, isn't there a certain way to apply blush for that shape? Also, what color do I use for blush [tan ish skin]?

bare minderals is not cheap and is only a powder...i have it and its really not as good as it sounds.

at stores like rite aid and wallmart you can find a variety of makeup that works just as good for very little.
i would recoment the products by covergirl, especially true blend, it matches 97% of skin tones, and it has poweder and liquid foundation. Also i would strongly recomend maybelline dream matte mousse, i love the texture of it and it also has many skin color variations you can buy.

for a mature look, you should keep your makeup natural, by using earthly tones. also keep you eye shadow colors neutral so you dont over do it, also maybe add some brown liner to the upper lid, and a bit of mascara.

for applying blush to oval shaped faces:
apply blush to the prominent part of the cheekbone and blend towards the temples

...also for you skin color you should either use rose or coral.

and as for buying blush, it really doesnt matter which brand, you could pick up a cheap one as long as its a good color

i have olive skin as well but i use bare minerals. some stores sell it cheaper than others. but its the best foundation because it doesnt clog pores and improves the overall appearence of your skin. try watching some commercials about it. and also gives a nice matural finish. it doesnt look like your wearing makeup at all.
