hi my name is tani, you answered my question called "i dont why this keeps happening" which was about my boyfriend trouble and i wanted to thank you for the great advice and if u dont mind could u give me some more advise about it. maybe the reason i go out with him is cause im scared he will be the only guy i will have a chance with and i dont want to let him go. no matter what we try to stay good friends and we talk about loads of stuff together, but its just so weird staying friends cause we frenched and have been so sexually close. (we havent had sex we just touch each other with our clothes on, nothin bad) and its hurts so much to see him with another girl. its like i want him when hes taken but i dont want him all that much when i CAN have him. i just dont know what to do. i mean i am keeping my options open im looking for other guys, im just so painfully shy thats its hard to meet new people. please help me.

Hey Tani, firstly your welcome =] Secondly well you should'nt feel like he is the only one you have a chance with. There are soo many fish in the sea and you never know when you will catch one you just have to wait untill you get a bite. I think maybe you like having him as your boyfriend because you like the fact that someone cares about you especially if he is also like your best friend. But i know what you mean by wanting him when your not together and not wanting him that much when you are. This happens to quite alot of people. I think its probably because your so close to him you feel you will loose him as a friend if your not with him as bf, i suggest if you do love him as a FRIEND rather than a BOYFRIEND then stay good friends and tell him how you feel. You need to be open with him and tell him you are reali afraid of loosing him. Also many friends kiss and end up in a relationship but then end it because they are too good friends. Then again you could like him really but i cant tell you how you feel or what exactly to do because i am not you and only you know how you truly feel, but if it hurts you that much seeing him with another girl then maybe you like him really unless you just dont want him to go off with her and forget about you. If this is the case then you have to distract yourself hang out with your girlfirends, make new friends and meeting a new guy will DEFFINATELY help you get over another lad.
I see you say your painfull shy, we all go through this i use to be so so so shy but i met new girl mates who where confident and introduced me into lads and that completly changed me i became so confident and now i am happy with how i am and its easier to meet new people. Girls are more easier to talk to so try making new friends who make you feel good about yourself and who you get along with well and they will introduce you to new friends girls AND boys, you just have to push yourself to be social.
