help!!!need to gain weight i'm asian,male,19
ok,the problem is not really to gain weight,although it is in a way,but more to the issue on how to look meaty.i'm quite skinny and just need to gain more meat on my arms,and body
the problem is,i eat a lot but can't seem to gain weight.my friends have looked more bulky and chubbier while i'm still skinny
anyway,first how do i gain weight by growing sideways,cause i don't want a belly,but to grow my body sideways ,if u know what i mean,like chubbier,cause when i eat a lot i just gain weight at my belly so it's like expanding in front but not the side as in my whole body frame,how do i do it?
2nd,how do i grow meat on my arms?
3rd,i workout usually,so how do i gain meat and exercise while not losing any of those meat? i mean is it even possible to exercise and not lose fat?

I think it is better for you to not have fat. The thing is to build up muscle instead. And you can weight train (lift weights) in addition to doing cardio (aerobic exercise like running or swimming) which will also help you in gaining muscle mass and make you look.. bulkier. You don't need to compare yourself to your friends because everyone's body is different. Also, eating protein helps you build muscle. I think you would rather have lots of muscle than fat! ]
