is there a certain age you have to be to buy diet pills ?

I'm pretty sure you have to be 18. I strongly advise against using them without asking your doctor first, though. They can really screw up your metabolism, not to mention other possible side effects. You're probably young, since you're asking this question. Start eating a balanced diet & exercise, and don't just say you exercise daily because you walk across the street to a friends house. Actually develop a regimen, eat healthy, and STICK TO IT, and you'll see results, I promise. If you're still having problems, see a doctor; he can refer you to a nutritionist and test for possible health problems that are preventing you from losing weight.
