It hydrates dry, dull hair and is also good for splits ends. You can also massage mashed avocado in your scalp and leave it for about 15 minutes. I find these give my hair shine and volume afterwards. Hope I helped =]. [ DJzmAgUy426's advice column | Ask DJzmAgUy426 A Question ]

LM answered Thursday August 2 2007, 6:38 pm: Trim your ends, first off. Nothing's gonna fix splits, but you can keep them from getting worse & prevent them in the future. Use a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. Leave the conditioner on for a few minutes because it'll make your hair softer and shinier & do more than detangle your hair. Minimize how much heat you put on your hair, and when you do use blowdryers and straighteners, use a hear protecting spray and/or cream. Hot oil treatments help too, just don't use them too often or your hair will become too oily and yucky.
