okay so i'm a responsible 14 year old girl and i want a tattoo so badly. i know i'm young and i know you think i might regret it when i'm older. all i want is a small, very small tattoo on my foot like an inch, inch an 1/2 below my pinky toe.
is it really all that bad?
the design i'm thinking about is either a peace sign or a bow. again verrrry small.
my mom said once i could get a tattoo, and i even asked her are you serious? dead serious? and she said yeah everytime. then one day i asked her if she would really take me again and she said no! i was like what the heck. i know life isn't fair,,but really i thought it was mean.
i love tattoos and really really want one.
oh and please don't say no tattoo shop would tattoo you. my stepdad is best friends with a guy who does tattoos and he's going to tattoo my other 14 year old friend pretty soon.
just tell me your thoughts on the situation.
if you think it'd be okay, or if it's stupid, etc.
lilmegsoko answered Thursday August 2 2007, 6:33 pm: First of all without your mothers consent, the guy can lose his license. My fiance is a tattoo artist. He said ABSOLUTELY not. 14 just isnt old enough. At this age, its hard to imagine what "Permanent" means. You should wait until you develope a theme. For instance he has an arm of skulls. It looks odd, to just have a bow or something small like that by itself. It's almost trashy. I would wait until you can get consent. That way you can go to a shop where you can get it professionally done so it doesnt come out looking crappy. And maybe then you can have an idea of what you really want. But dont just put something there because you want something there. I was like you. LOVED tattoos at 13. I didnt get my first one until i was 19. And I love it. But every person I know that got one at your age HATES it now. Its faded and not who they are. Just wait it out until you know EXACTLY what you want.
