You can go to Nordstroms before Sunday and they have their sneakers on anniversary sale. The staff is very knowledgeable and the sneakers are on sale and amazing quality :] ]
Asics are definitely the way to go. They are very light on your foot and feel almost like nothing.
That's the kind I wear. I bought the first pair to try and now they're the only type of running shoe I wear.
My school trainer also recommends Saucony.
Try some on, and see how you like them. :) ]
i've heard that nike shox give you little or no support and actually cause foot problems if you run in them often, so you might want to stay away from those. i suppose it depends on what foot type you are... my feet are basically shaped like skis, so i like new balance shoes to walk in because they are basically completely flat. but i like to run in nikes. i've not had good luck with adidas or asics, but a lot of my friends run in asics. i think asics are only like thirty bucks at academy. not sure on the nikes, but they might be a little more expensive. ]
