I just got my first boyfriend. He's been a friend of mine for four years and he REALLY likes me. I like him too. But not as much as I like another guy I've liked longer!! The day my boyfriend asked me out, the guy I like was going to ask me out, too! I know my boyfriend really likes me and I think this other boy likes me... I kinda want to dump my boyfriend but I don't know how, dion't want to hurt his feelings, and I want him to still be my friend. HELP ME PLEASE!

Also, you might not feel as comfortable and as you use to when you guys were just friends. It can also ruin friendships in some cases. I think that if you went out with this guy that you've been friends with for so long, and he finds out another way that you like another guy more, but your going out with him because you feel bad, he would be more hurt then you breaking-up withhim now. Since he's been your friend so long, Im sure he'll somewhat understand. You could tell him that you like him, but you really dont want to ruin your friendship with him or you think its better if you stay friends. Then after you havent gone out with him for a while, you can go with the other guy you like. But when you go out with this other guy, stil stay really good friends with your other friend. Try not to do things infront of him that would make him jealous. And show him that you care more about your friendship a lot. Like not always hanging out with your boyfriend, and try hanging out with him also.
I hope that helps a bit =]
Just Remember to try to not make your new boyfried jealous also.
