But I think that having snacks is probably the reason you've got "excess" weight.
And there is NO WAY that eating just breakfast, lunch, and dinner is BAD for you. That's what you're SUPPOSED to eat, if I'm correct.
I think you should just cut down on your portions. Like instead of having 3 or 4 eggs for breakfast, have 1 or 2. Use less jelly on your toast. Use less syrup on pancakes/waffles. Use less ketchup/sauce/dressing on things.

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day though so you should have cereal with fruit or toast. Lunch can be on the light side somewhat. Maybe a sandwich & crackers. For dinner you should have something like one main part such as a meat & 2 sides like vegetable & another side dish of your choice. You should eat healthy no matter what. Everyone is different though. Some people can lose weight by just eating 3 meals & cutting snacks, some people eat 5-6 small meals. It really depends on your body type & your metabolism. Try staying away from real junk food & don't over-eat if you're full. If you're hungry, eat. Even if you had or are going to have 3 meals. You don't want to starve yourself. Also, you need to exercise. It doesn't have to be intense. Just walking would be fine too.
