ImFakingHotPink answered Saturday July 28 2007, 10:38 pm: Please, don't get hair extensions just to fit in at high school.
Hair extensions are bad for your hair. There is the glue-in kind, the sew-in, and clip on. The glue on kind is HELL to take out, my friend had them. And both the glue-in and seew ones make chunks of your hair fall out. If you want to just experiment with extensions buy the clip on kind, I know it sounds cheasy but it's worth it for playing up your hair styles. Plus they are WAYYYYY cheaper. When you have extensions, if it's not human hair which sounds so gross then you can't wash your hair normally and it's harder to manage.
I had extensions for two weeks when I was modeling but I got them for free. Human hair extensions are more expensive, and if you have a more difficult hair type to match it also makes it more expensive. A good extension runs 400+. Just buy the clip ons. DancinCutie08 answered Friday July 27 2007, 10:31 pm: yeah it is.. it varies alot though depending on what exactly you get and what kind of salon you go to.
the cheapest way to do it (about $25 plus tip) is if you can find a highschooler thats goes to tech for cosmo.. there were a few girls that would do them for kids at my school this year. you can buy the extentions at sallys for like $25 then they would put them in (they usually do a good job) for just like $10 or whatever to want to give them [ DancinCutie08's advice column | Ask DancinCutie08 A Question ]
