Hello. I decided to answer this because it might be fun to try and help you out.
Well, just because you can't shop at Hot Topic does not mean you have to dress like a Hollister model.
I'll try to give you some suggestions =]
Instead of baggy boy shorts, how about cargo shorts like this?:

- This way, you aren't wearing the baggy boy shorts, but more fitted shorts that aren't too tight, etc.
And you don't have to wear like polos, you can wear normal shirts that are really cute but not too girly, kind of like these:

- This way, you can wear your greys and blacks, but within shirts your parents might find more appropriate.
Also, how about shirts like this:

-These aren't too girly, but they aren't neccessarily boyish or anything, either.
For accessories, how about something along the lines of these:

I also found this website that has really cute clothes that aren't super girly that you might like:

Try the sotres I used for those examples.
- Old Navy & Forever 21.
Also, why don't you order some band shirts?
Those are really versitile (spelling?) and comfy. You can also wear them almost anywhere, anytime.
I hope this helps && Good Luck! =]

i can see that you like hot topic a lot and you shouldn't have to completely change you know? so i would just sit down your mom and tell her there are more toned down clothes at hot topic.
heres some examples:
