well, what is ur budget? is $224.99 okey? i recommend this one to u, it basically meet ur need except the unknown price:

1. Huge 1/2.5" CCD sensor at 6.0 mega pixel level (Max 8.0 mega via software Interpolation)
2. 24x zoom: 3x internal noiseless optical zoom and 8x digital zoom
3. Advanced anti-shake syetem avoids blurry photo caused by hand shaking
4. thin enough to fit into ur pocket
5. delay tine is not long

I have a Casio Exilim EX-Z70 7.2MP camera and it takes great pictures! It has a bunch of different modes (called "Best Shots" on the camera) and several different color filters. Its thin, has a 2.5 inch display and comes in several different colors. I got it on sale for only $125. If you are willing to splurge though, I'd definitely go for any of Canon's Powershot models, although they do get really expensive.

Also, a tip about the delay: The delay before it actually taking a picture is the camera focusing. To avoid a huge delay, focus first by pressing the capture button down half way. On most cameras a green box will appear on what its focusing on. The box will be red if its out of focus. By focusing first, the camera will immediately capture the picture when you press down all the way. So taking pictures will be more of a half way down, then all the way down movement instead of just one click.

Hey! I have the Canon Powershot SD750. It's amazing! I love itt. Its small, pretty thin, can easily fit into my pocket while I'm wearing tight jeans, it has different scene modes (Portrait, Night, Kids and Pets(action), Snow, Beach, Fireworks, Aquarium, I'm only missing a few, I can't remember). But It also has a really large LCD screen, it's 3 inches. There isn't much of a delay time after taking pictures which is pretty nice. Well, I hope I helped!
