fall fashion trends 07!

Question Posted Tuesday July 24 2007, 9:18 am

what styles are gonna be HOT this fall season? i wanna know so i know what to get around when school comes. that doesnt mean im an idiot with who only follows trends, i'll base my fashion desicions around the style kinda, and will wear stuff i LIKE to wear. btw, 13/f.

i hear 1940s styles (or styles from that movie, Hairspray) may come back?

also please post some examples from websites about what your talking about.

also, how come when adults talk of trendsetters they talk about celebrities? i dont think celebs are really trendsetters, or are celebs like the popular people in the adult world? i mean normal kids in school can be trendsetters too. *rolls eyes* people give celebs alot more credit than they deserve, they're just like any other ordinary job.. that just gets paid alot.. but all the poperazzi stuff and the shows showing that Blabla and Blabla just had a new baby.. um who cares? people have babies all the time. and when anna nicole died, who cares, besides her family? what did anna nicole even do to help our society? i mean it sucks that a person in our world has died, but... shes just as important as any other person. even a random hobo on the street. eh sorry i got so far in that, but it really bothers me.

^ this site is mostly stuff that is going to be in style...but ive noticed that the styles in fashion shows are over dramatic for what you would accully wear, so if you just take notice of the colors and accessorys used then you should be set.

^i personally like this site for new trends

here is some info i got from the august teen vogue issue on fall back to school fashion:

here is the site [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)

but what they said in the magazine is,

-light gray skinny jeans are trendy.

-bare legs with like dresses and skirts with these heeled boots with scrunchy socks, shown in the little manhatten picture on the website

-scarfs instead of last seasons chunky necklace

-the scrunched down socks actually with any shoe and a bare leg

-vinyl belts

also in that issue there was a lot of hat wearing so hats could even turn out to be a big trend :]

i know it's not that much, if i were you i'd go out and get the issue, it gives you a lot of cute ideas how to dress!

hope i helped :]
