heyy
if you leave a safty pin in a bellybutton piercing will it get infected or like rust inside you? i heard that it can mess it all up.

Yeah it could get infected, especially if said safety pin was used to pierce your skin to begin with, and wasn't sterilized and/or disinfected on a regular basis.


It's probably not the greatest idea since it could get caught on things more easily than a regular ring, but I'd ask a person at a piercing place to be sure. It might be okay if the hole was pierced correctly & it's healed over already, but I don't know for sure.
