how do you change your name on facebook?

In the top right corner, go to "Account"
Then go to the bottom where it says "Change Name"
It takes a few days for them to accept it, because they confirm all name change requests

Yeah, you can change your name the person below me is wrong. Log into facebook, and MY ACCOUNT (in the top right). Scroll down all the way to the bottom & there should be something that is labled change name. Just submit your new name & no it doesnt untag your pictures or anything like that, it just changes everything to the new name :)

you don't. it's based on your e-mail address. when you sign up for a facebook account.
