knee problems.. ?

this is two questions in one..
i have a bad right knee, it hurts on the left side of my kneecap, like the inside of the knee. it hurts when i lock my knee out, and it hurts a lot more when i bend my knee.
first question:
WHAT KNEE BRACE SHOULD I TRY?
it started hurting about three weeks ago. i told my mom and dad that i needed to get it looked at, but they said that i'll be fine. you see, i'm in cheerleading, volleyball, softball, and track. it's not that i get hurt a lot, it's just that something differnt hurts at each practice. but this knee thing, it's been a constant pain, even when i'm not tumbling, running, jumping, ect. so when i'm just laying in bed, it hurts.
second question:
HOW DO I GET MY PARENTS TO LET ME GO TO THE DOCTOR?

You need to see a doctor to see what's wrong. I know from experience, I have had problems with my knee. I had to get surgery last spring because of my knee. You should really get it checked out. It started to hurt me again, so I went back to the doctor and it turns out I need another surgery. I wouldn't have even known if I didn't go to the doctor. He'll tell you what brace that you need, I use a Don Joy brace, but I don't know if we even have the same knee conditions, so your best bet is to get a recommendation from your doctor.

Ok my friends sister was in vollyball for 5 years and she was having knee problems come out that she had cancer from hitting the floor to hard-she had surgery and now she is Ok but you really should have it looked at sorry to scare you though it might not be serious

Hey! Ok, I have the exact same problem with my knee! Not even kidding! On my right knee too, the same thing! And, I'm in cheerleading and track! It started giving me problems last year when I started high school! i got a special kind of knee brace for the condition of wats wrong w/ my knee. You do need to go to a doctor to get it checked out. Becuz, with my knee, the brace and the pills they gave me arent working, so i might have to have surgery.... This is a very serious matter, get it checked out ASAP! Good luck! hope it turns out ok!
