6 month anniversary

hey!
i'm trying to plan something for me & my boyfriend of 6 months to do on our "anniversary"
i'm completely out of ideas! going to a movie theater is out because my parents don't trust me with him at a movie theater by ourselves (haha) so any ideas would be appreciated!!

Oh, this sounds like it will be great fun for you two.
You could always take him to a fancy dinner. And if not, how about making him dinner? If you're up to the challenge, you could try stuffed chicken breasts with potatoes of some sort with a fresh garden salad and sundaes for dessert. Or lasagna.
If you're willing to get creative, how about planning a picnic lunch in the park? That will definitely be simple enough. You could bring a blanket and some music. It doesn't have to be complicated. It can consist of turkey sandwiches on slice bread, grapes, watermelon, pretzels, twinkies etc. And make sure you bring bread to feed the duckies. That would be a nice touch.

I see that the cinemas are out, but might you also consider mini golf, bowling, go-karting, billiards, arcades, amusement parks, museums, zoos and bike riding.
If we're talking gifts, try keeping it simple. Spring for some posters, a leather jacket, nice cologne, a gift card, a nintendo system, or some DVD's.
Or if he drives, how about a gas card?
Another possible suggestion, you could always make him a poster or a photo album. You can enhance it with the use of markers, photographs, quotes and so on. How about making him some sort of little quilt with protective clear pockets that you can insert pictures into, and take them out to wash easily?
Just remember that it's the thought that counts with these things. Exspense doesn't measure love, so I'm sure he'll love whatever it is that you do.

Well you can make a nice dinner and then sit at home and watch a movie. You could go on a picinc, the mall, a nice night at home, or you could send some "spys" (aka you/ his friends) in to ask him some questions and then see if anything sounds good. Also you can just sit or call and talk. then maybe (depends on budget) get him a nice gift to surprise him with. Hope I helped and you both have a nice "anniversary"

yeah maybe it would be nice to share a one on one dinner date? or have a picnic with candles n watch the stars? or you can go to a local blockbuster or movie store n rent one n have a night in with eachtother? it doesn't really matter what you guys do. he should be happy that you put up with his butt for 6 months :].

Well, where did you first meet him? Maybe you should just take him out for dinner and have little things representing of where you first met.
I dont know, It really matters who the guy is and what he likes and dislikes.
Think out of the box though!
