LONG BUT I NEED ADVICEE!!!!
It might be long but please read, i need your advise, I'd appreciate it soo much!!
okay, so i have a family of 5. A sister who can be a snob, and is 21. A brother who can be nice and caring and is 18. And a mom and dad, and well.. me who is 14.
My mom is always paying attention to my sisters problems and not mine. Yeah, my sister has alot of problems but i need some help sometime too.
How do I get my mom to open up to me instead of telling her??
I dont have a good relationship with my mom. Shes not a friend or best friend , shes just my mom. And i've always wanted to be closer. We do have those " cute, daughter and mother" times but i want to be able to talk to my mom about anything.
ALSOO; My mom cant trust me for crap. She wont let me go to the park because she said she doesnt trustt the "world". i understand shes trying to protect me but.. she has to let me out sometime. i cant be cooped up in this house all the time. And i want to go to the park or six flaggs or the mall with my friends too. And i dont want to have to lie to her that im going to there house or something. im sick of it. How can i show my mom that im old enough a to go places. Dont get me wrong, i go to parks and everything, its just my mom doesnt like it. and thats what i need help with!
Also i want a cell phone really bad, i do chores everyday. im the only one in my family who helps my mom with cleaning and everything. oh oh an i do it for FREE. i never ask for money. And since my sister invades my calls i need a cell phone, but my parents wont get me one! how can i persuade them!!??

Wow that's how my mother was when I was younger. Honestly, it takes a lot of time and not giving up to get past this. You're obviously already showing her you are responsible, but now you need to slowly push the boundaries of your parents rules. Talk to your mother and tell her that you want to go to the park and that you'll be with a lot of friends so that you wont be alone. If she agrees then go, but if she doesn't, make her EXPLAIN why not. And try to answer all those reasons. the world is a bad place...but you do need to grow up sometime.
Don't just back down when your parents say no, fight to be able to go- but don't be disrespectful.
Also, I agree about the phone- tell your mother that with one she will be able to always reach you if she gets worried. And promise to not run the bill too high.

well about the relationship with your mom, i dont know what to say.. sorry!
but you should talk to your mom about a cell phone. tell her that you need one to always call her to tell her where you are. and maybe she will let you go to places if you have a cell phone. when i wanted one, i told my mom that i would always call when im going somewhere or doing something. and that she could always reach me.
