fonts I download fonts at www.dafont.com but when I want to use them, I always have to open up a folder and find a font that I want to use. Is there a way just to get the font on the list of fonts right when I'm on the program so I don't have to always search for it and open up all these folders?

Here is a tutorial link that will show you how to install fonts into your windows font folder. It has one for zip files or one for using the extraction wizard.
Please note that if you are a big font collector,
adding them to windows folder will slow your computer way down or even cause it to crash.
You can add some but not hundreds. I don't
have a good number for you that would be safe.
So, as much trouble as it is. Using a folder is the safest way if you collect a lot of fonts.
Here is the link.

go to thecontrol panel and find the folder for fonts. Look under the things at the top (file and such) and find "install new font". go into that and find the folder with your fonts in it. select them and hit install. They will then be in the program you use! ]
all you have to do when you install a font and it's there by itself in windows explorer (after you extract the file or unzip it or whatever you have to do to it), click "move folder" and then go to my computer, local disk, windows, then put it in the "fonts" folder. (: ]
