can't download any more fonts?

Question Posted Thursday July 19 2007, 6:54 am

i have a laptop and i edit photos a lot with various fonts and stuff.

after getting a recommendation from a friend i go to dafont.com

since then i've downloaded a few fonts successfully, but now when i try to download new fonts it always says its 'corrupted' or 'incomplete'.

what's the reason for this?

and is there a program i can download to maybe 'uncorrupt' the files?

or any way to fix this?

'kaythanks.

To many fonts can slow down your computer big time. I have a program that will remove all the fonts you have added and leave only those originally meant for your computer.

You do not have to add them to your paint shop
or whatever program you are using. You just need to keep them in a folder. When you want to use a font from your folder, Simply click on the font you wish to use to open it, then click on the ( - ) minimize at the top right of the opened font box, this will minimize the font to the system tray.

The font should now be available for you to use. *

This will make that font available for all programs you are running without installing it. When you have completed use of that font, simply maximize it, then click on the ( x ) to close it. This automatically puts it back in your "Fav Fonts" folder until you need it again!!!

I also have recently installed a neat program called "Font Frenzy". Here is the link for that program:

This free download can restore your computers fonts to the original fonts that were installed on your system, and move the extra fonts to a file you specify like "Fav Fonts"!!!
