no, it cannot be stopped. however, it can lighten it & cause it to stop faster. masturbating in general can help speed up your period & make it less heavy. if you're just fingering yourself for the goal of lightening your period, it won't help. you actually have to masturbate.
so can excercise & a long, warm bath.
