Ohhhh gosh. I don't know what to do! I've had my iPod Video for the past 1 and a half. And it has been driving me NUTS after like 7 months. It has been running out of battery the day that I charge it. It sometimes froze, and un-froze only like 2 days after. I never dropped it or anything. And now.....the battery runs for like less than 4 hours, after one full charge. I am so serious...And the video part. It wastes my battery RIGHT AWAY! It has a memory of 30 GB and I only used 5 GB!
Would it be an iditotic thing to do...to buy a new iPod? Can anyone give me suggestions of a better mp3 player?
1. You can contact Apple and send in your Ipod to them, and if it is still under warranty they will replace the battery for free. If it isn't under warranty, they might charge you to replace it.
2. Buy a better MP3 player, which there are many which are way better, and less expensive.

But I'm assuming that yours is just getting old. Maybe you've just worn it out and listened to it so much that it isn't running that well anymore. Plus.. I've heard of many people who watch videos on their iPod just like theirs and and the battery runs out really quick after watching it.
Or maybe its not that your iPod is old.. just that it has a less battery life than the smaller iPod.
If you really want to spend the money- then I would say that it wouldn't be an idiotic thing to buy a new iPod. The smaller ones, I've heard, have a longer battery life.. like 24 hours or something.
