if you just got your period, then it might be that there's some skin blocking it. someone i know had that. if that's the case (and if you look you should notice), then go to your doctor.

welllll you don't have to use super or lites.. use regular=] i reccommend playtex sport.. they're amazing. make sure it's in all the way, and you shouldn't feel any discomfort at all if it's all filled up when you take it out. when you put it in, make sure you can move around comfortably.. even wiggle around in your bathroom to check lol just to see that it's in properly=] ask someone whos very close to you to help if you're still having problems=] good luck

To me it sounds like you haven't pushed it up far enough or in the wrong position, as i get that stinging feeling if it isn't in the right place. Have a look at:
[Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
and see if it helps at all. Tampons shouldn't cause discomfort and if the smaller tampons absorb to quickly then you do need the super ones.. or maybe just the regulars?? Just make sure you use a applicator as they help to get it far enough in, so that it doesn't hurt or sting at all.

Hope that helps:)
